Travel with Chance is run by Chance Callahan in Wichita, Kansas. This page explains what this website collects when you visit, and what happens to the information you choose to share when you ask about a trip.

The short version

  • This website has no accounts, no comment forms, and no forms of its own.
  • It does use three outside analytics and advertising tools, listed below, which set cookies and record how the site is used.
  • Trip and accessibility details are only collected when you choose to send them, through the Fora consultation form or by email.
  • I do not sell your personal information.

What is collected when you visit

Google Analytics (Google LLC) records which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, and what kind of device and browser they use. It sets cookies to tell visits apart.

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) records how visitors use the site, including clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, and can replay a visit as a session recording. It sets cookies. I use it to find pages that are confusing or hard to use.

Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) reports page visits to Meta so that Facebook and Instagram advertising can be measured and shown to people who have visited the site. It sets cookies, and Meta may connect a visit to your Facebook or Instagram account.

Google Fonts serves the typeface used on this site, and GitHub Pages hosts the site. Both receive your IP address and browser details, as any web server does when it sends you a page.

Each of these companies handles the data it receives under its own privacy policy.

What is collected when you contact me

The "consultation" buttons on this site open an intake form hosted by Fora Travel, the host agency I work with. What you enter there goes to Fora and to me, and is covered by the privacy policy published on foratravel.com.

If you email me or become a client, I keep what you tell me: names, contact details, travel dates and preferences, and any sensory, accessibility, or medical details you choose to share. I use that information only to plan and book your trip. Where it is needed to make a booking or arrange an accommodation, I share the relevant details with the airlines, hotels, rail and cruise operators, tour partners, and programs such as TSA Cares involved in your trip.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
  • You can manage how Meta uses activity from other websites in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
  • A content blocker or your browser's tracking protection will stop all three tools.
  • You can ask me what information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing chance.callahan@fora.travel. Some booking records have to be kept by Fora and by travel suppliers.

Children

This website is written for adults, including parents and caregivers planning travel for a child. I do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it.
